Bench testing.... Cheater! [emoji12] looks good though. What is the momentary part of the switch action needed for?

So when you install a sway bar on a non rubicon model, you can not use this circuit board. This is what the computer sends signals to to lock and unlock. It needs removed.

The sway bar motor is basically a plunger, when you flip the momentary switch, it plunges and pushes on the gear internally. At that point it disengages.

However soon as it does the plunger is spring loaded and will go back to the lock position. At this point, power needs to be cut off for a split second. (While the plunger is still in the out (unlocked position).

By flip the switch back to the on position this activates the magnet holding the plunger down and unlocked. To lock the sway bar back up, just switch it to off position.

The motor and magnet can not be on at the same time, it'll burn it up. The switch is 0n/off/momentary on. I hope that makes sense. I've spent hours reading write ups online. Lots of bad info mixed in with good tech. You do need to run a resistor. The motor can not take the full amps.

Looks good Pig. If you ever loan out your jeep no one will ever be able to figure out how to disconnect your sway bar.

Found a set of RK 1.5" coils on Craigslist to get me by until I can go with enforcer kit.

It lowered the jeep about 1/2" . It had the stiffest springs I've ever rode in. The ride softened up nicely. It'll do for now.

Started working on the hard top again,

I had to cut material off the window frame, I then used a piece of angle steal ,

I would show off my welds but they look like dog shit on a stick

I also welded on a eye look at the top so I can strep the two together and keep the tops from bowing out

No kidding, truthfully I hate the half cab look. Love how it is topless.

Im kind of the same way. I like it at times but then I dont. I like the direction your going with the full top. I wish there was one out there that was like the CJ8s or the LJs but you could still retain the two-seater and the bed. Probably would have to have somebody do some custom fiberglass work to make one. Also Wish there was a full soft top as well. LOL.

Full soft would be easy, (next goal)I just need to get my hands on the rear roll bar portion that was cut off. The rest will bolt right on and look perfect with this soft half door top.

I'm not sure I like the hardtop mix with the soft uppers, it'll due for now
