It's tough to choose a trail in that area for the snow run ahead of time snow level changes so much we may hafta wait til jan to see where snow levels are but there are quite a few from Arnold to the gate if snow is heavy boards crossing road would be a run just to get down to the San Joaquin

I agree with Panda. I think we should just meet up in Angels Camp and head up Hwy 4 until we reach the proper snow level. Between all of us we know trails in that area we can get to. My personal preference is Sourgrass which is past Arnold in Dorrington. There's a beautiful spot not far off Boards Crossing next to the San Joaquin river where we can lunch then small backtrack to continue on Fire Trails that start at the end of Boards Crossing, my second choice would be Corral Hollow just saying....
