Haven't posted in awhile. Been busy! The wife treated me to a weekend in San Antonio for my birthday

With the weather warming up quickly, I'm needing to start plans to build a budget hoist for the hardtop.

Thats Great man! Glad to hear that you really enjoyed Onyx's thread. This thread will have no where near the same amount of mods but my plan is to take Steel on more adventures in stock form than Onyx ever went on!

I hope you enjoy it just as much!
 
So.. i have about $100 bucks in Amazon gift cards just sitting around.

really needing some floor mats.. but i could also use a CB. hmmmmm

Saw you were thinking about the hoist system. This is what I have and it works great and is a one man job to put the top on and off. I also place my freedom panels on top. When not being used for my Jeep I use it to store whatever. I know Amazon has them also but I bought mine at Lowes. I can take some other pics if you want.

looks awesome! I can't decide if I want to go this route or go with a budget ratchet strap system thats DIY. I'll certainly look into this though!

I say CB. You can get a good deal thru Amazon on a cobra 29 lx as well as the cobra 75.
 
With temps upwards of 70s, it's hard to believe we are in the "Winter" season here in Texas. Because of this great weather, I thought tomorrow might be a great day to break off the freedom panels for the first time! But first, I thought a nice detail was in order. The first of many for Steel!

Still working on making a decision on Wayalife decals, so many great choices, I can't decide!
