Steel's new Bestop TrekTop NX in Black Diamond showed up today. :)

Steel out of the garage for the first time in a few days! It's way to cold for being stripped down at the moment.

Racing against day light, and the cold weather, I didn't have time to let the fabric stretch like it should have been. Needless to say, this was a difficult install due to the cold weather. After getting everything partially put together, I let my heat run to try and stretch everything out.

And done! Took it for a test drive, unfortunately darkness set in and I wasn't able to get any more pictures.

I installed my twill in the cold....it was terrible to finish but I did the same heat trick for a little while which helped but it was still stupid tight.

So what top is next? :cheesy:

No shit! I had my jeep running on highi heat for a while when I installed mine late at night.

Surprisingly enough, all of the trektops I've owned I've installed in weather above 75 degrees. I was amazed at how tight this one was, I still have zippers that aren't zipped.

And after this last install experience, TrekTop 4 lyfe. Haha

Went to one of my favorite stretching spots today to get some pictures of Steel with the new top. This is a fun little place with some washouts to stretch the suspension, but not enough space to really have some fun!
