My Dozer

I get home pumped to tackle this brake line job and I notice the house is cold as shit, turns out the motor in my ancient furnace took a dump.1430155794608.jpg
Living in a small town sucks, went to every hardware store (two in town) and nothing. Went to tractor supply and they had something that might work, but they wanted $250 bucks. So amazon to the rescue. New motor should be here tomorrow.

So after I panicked and got it ordered, I'm looking this over, I'm going to try something like JAG's set up. Here are the holes I need to enlarge.

Pop the clips on the sides.1430165982966.jpg
My cheap inch lb torque wrench doesn't go to 276 inch lbs. So Google to the rescue.

Banjo bolts torqued and lines on.1430166117127.jpg1430166133953.jpg

Zipped tied the lines to the shocks, need to take it out and flex it and adjust. But good enough until then.1430166222022.jpg
Busted out the bleed o magic and bleed the brakes.

Went to test drive it and lost my key. Spent a whole hour looking for it. Then I remembered......

Stopped by pressing the brake, so I guess it's good to go. Now I don't have to worry about my sway bar links catching my lines.

Also, I done lost the battle of keeping my flares black. Hmmm.

Better views of the sides now and lines. Thanks to Frank and JAG's for answering my questions.

Drawback to having a locking hood. I felt stupid.

Oh no worries, we've all done stupid stuff. The other day I was looking for my phone, I kept picking it up and changing songs on it, setting it back down. I looked for it for like 20 minutes before I realized the "iPod" I was using was the damn phone. Lol.

Got the frame cleaned up, looking dirty after winter,1430336590742.jpg
Checked full droop if lines were long enough.1430336639397.jpg

Need to get a can of foam to fill in this problem area. Dirt get into the tub under the lights. Post pictures when I get it done.

Hopefully order more parts tonight.

Nice. :thumb: Got a pic of the lines above the zip? Even though it was the example sent to me I unzipped mine from the links so they're just free form. Do you have slack above the zip to where they come through the shock mount?

This is the best I have, I'm at work. But I don't see the top of the shock moving too much, that's the reason I put them like this.
