Miller jeep trail 5/11/13

how long does it take to get from the start of the trail to the OHV park?

I hear that if its like 4 of you guys with a lift you can do it in like 2 1/2 hours that's what combatvetjk said I talked to him Sunday he said its easy for someone with a lift

So Reiney and myself will be headed up there Friday morning and camping Friday night and will probably met up with Vet. but i have a question, will you guys be taking the same trail back after running up to the ohv park? We might meet up in the am but will confirm that closer to date.

We will be heading up Friday afternoon, we will probably arrive in Gorman around 3:30-4:00pm. I forget the name of the campground we usually stay at but i will try to find it and let you know because it is a very large spot where we can all stay in one site and it looks out over the OHV area, if that is what everyone wants to do Friday night? plus its only like 10-15 min to Flying J in the morning.

My neighbor said the trail comes out right in the middle of the ohv park I know where he's talking about its literally in the middle

yes the trail comes out in the middle of the OHV park on the backside only about 10 min from the obstacle course, that is after we come down the long fire road from the exact trail exit then we will be at Gorman OHV.

how long does it take to get from the start of the trail to the OHV park? or to where ever the end of the trail will be? Estamated on the rail? just want to know but im down for whatever.

well with a couple vehicles I have completed the trail in just about 2 1/2 hours, of course thats not having any breaks or issues along the way except for a few stops to stretch and hang out in the middle by the creek where i think we should stop to eat lunch, its where Lockwood turns into Miller Trail. perfect stopping point with lots of shade and it is a halfway point.
now with as many Jeeps as we have going i am expecting to be ON the trail for 4-5 hours due to not everyone being lifted and thats allowing time for any unexpected events, such as winching or pulling. when i went on this trail stock with no lift and factory Wrangler SRA street radials it took just about 3 1/2 hours and that was with a total of 5 vehicles so we will see. But don't get me wrong, more people the better!!! its going to be so much fun!! I hope everyone is ready for some fancy pin striping and (if stock height) skid plate sliding.

well im always down for a nice stroll in the park. My daily driver likes it too.

So I just looked up the name of the campground that would be perfect for us to stay at and it is called
"CIRCLE CANYON CAMPGROUND" and as you pull up to it the spot is the first one on the right, on the corner.

Is it the one where the trail comes out at that street that heads in toward the mountain that's a big camp ground right there

if anyone wants to drive there with full doors then switch to doorless or half doors i will have a couple tents where i am leaving my doors and anyone else who wants to drop doors. just pm me your number and saturday morning or friday night we can link up for directions or a meet spot to bring you to my camp ground. if you want i have also cable locked mine to a tree in the campground if we run out of tent space that is an option i have done before

I'm driving doorless all the way over there lol

sounds awesome, i would do the same but i will have my 3 year old with me so i make accommodations to not drive that far doorless for her safety, but she loves playing on the trails and rocks so its worth it every time!

BTW is anyone else bringing kids with them??
