This morning Lee contacted me asking me if I placed lock tight on all the bolts (Caliper bolts, drum spline bolts, center bolt) and I didn't. So this morning I took everything apart once again and making sure the shaft did not move much since fluid is in the diff. I grease the outer splines up and placed lock tight on all the bolts. Re-torqued all the bolts down. It made it super easy completing this installation with the guide listed below. Torque specs are a huge concern for me. I took off the cotter pins and re-torqued the knuckle bolts. Glad I did and re-read what BONDSY said about the bolts.

There shouldn't be any fluid in your front axle tubes.

When he said he took it all apart again, he pretty much did before I could stop him,lol

I didn't take out the axle shafts. I took off the outer spline piece that holds the axle shafts in and left the shafts inside. Luded up the outer spline shafts and put them back together. I made sure I didn't move it much when taking it apart.

Wasn't sure what you meant by the comment "made sure no to move the shaft since there is fluid in the diff". You can take the shaft completely out with the diff full and not affect it.

No worries Adam. I glad your watching out for me since I'm still new to the game :friends:. I'll keep a eye out for any fluid in the axle housing. I checked after driving a mile and seemed fine so far.

Getting the wifes together is a bad idea. Thoughts will be floating around about how much we're spending on our rigs!!! :naw:

LOL.....My wife wants a Jeep of her own. To bad it's not in the budget or that one would be on 37's as well. Do you have a Jeep of your own as well?

I taking metal notes...:yup: I super thankful that I found the Jeep I did. It was a steel of a price. Wife was looking at Craigslist last night and she said 47k for this Jeep.........Why!!! It's a Jeep babe!! :icon_crazy:

Yup I have my own Jeep, it's an 09 JKUX.

Definitely not! Was a mud puddle at the mall. Had to barely outrun a Prius to get to it, if it wasn't for the speedbump he might have outrun me.

Stealership

I received a call from Chrysler about the Jeep's differential switch. At first the guy said no it is not going to be covered at all. Then digging further into what the guy was saying and pressuring him why he made this determination, found out the dealership said it was because of the gears. Wait what!!!! I then said the Tech that worked on my Jeep said he didn't know if my gears caused the issue and the only way is to open up the differential and take out the carrier. He's following up with me on Friday. I then talked with the manager at the dealership and told him what I was told. Then he said Wait what!!!! He gave him the information and he didn't know what this guy role or involvement in the situation. Manager is going to call this guy and try resolve the confusion. Cross your fingers :ahhh-what:

I did last night plug in the sensor that I bought and the light goes away on the dash board.

Toe and axle center

Last night my wife decided to drive since I was on pain meds from mouth surgery yesterday. She said she felt the same thing she did before I completed all the adjustments. So today I went out and re-centered the axle again. Which was weird because it was off a 1/4 of a inch.... Then I checked the toe. That was off as well, found it was kicked out 1/8 of a inch towards the back of the tire. So right away I decided to reference

http://wayalife.com/showthread.php?3861-Basic-Do-it-Yourself-Jeep-JK-Wrangler-Front-End-Alignment

which is great help. So the front tire is now inward in the front by a 1/16-1/8 from the back. Took some pictures on what I did.

Checking the toe. Making sure that my level and my level on the other side is matched up at the same exact height.
