I can teach MIG and TIG Welding if you have the equipment.
I used to teach HS Welding in Corcoran High School.

I have a brandnew Lincoln Mig with a full tank at your disposal

We are Jeep..Resistance is futile..

Thanks for the pics and info my lift has a tracbar drop bracket and I thought I could remove it just wanted,to see how yours was set up

Hope it helped. If you want to get the tracbar higher you can buy a EVO steering flip kit. That would allow the tracbar to get higher out of the way along with other benefits. There are other companies that make the same set up essentially. But you have to have a 3 inch lift or higher.

You have a MIG welder with a tank of inert gas?
Wow, pro style, not you're typical garage welder.
Great, that makes some beautiful welds, cleaner than a flux core.

Which gas do you have?
How many amps is the welder?
Wire size?

AND, I love Tacos de gato!

Without being at home I'll have to guess. Input is 240v and is the biggest Home Depot (Lowes?) carries. Maybe a 135 or 185? Gas is 75/25 (Argon/CO2) and I'm pretty sure I'm running .035 wire or whichever is most common if the .035 was the flux core I had at first. The flux core made ugly bird poop welds but I havent had much chance to do much with the gas yet. I could definately hear the eggs frying though.(sunny side up even:D).

Perfect! Time to go welding, we need some scrap metal to practice on and maybe some bar stock, 1 to 2 inches wide to practice with as well.

Today going into work and walk into the Comm room and sure enough.........A high lift jack with a big bow and card from Santa. One of the guys I work with gave me the jack as a present. That made my week for sure.

Well I decided to do some preventative maintenance with the Jeep. Swapped the tires with the spare today and cant believe that I've traveled a good 1000 miles rolling in town. I've got to get me a Mall Crawler banner stick on the windshield.

Would be my pleasure to make that purchase on your behalf:D

Trying to convince my wife, so I can by some chromoly axle shafts for the front. What are some good lines I can convince her with?

The word "OOPS" while your working on something else in the area works for me:D

I don't think that will work at this time!!! I was wanting to change out the shafts, ball joints along with fluid all the same time. And it would be a check off the list......
