Okay, in my ongoing pursuit to figure out the electrical gremlins that we've been seeing, I ordered up a new center stack to replace the original factory one.
Old one coming out.
New one ready for install.
After an initial test drive, things seem to okay but then, for the most part, they were even before the swap.
That said, so far, I haven't seen any more Blind Spot Unavailable errors but that doesn't really mean anything as again, even before, it could take a bit for it to kick off.
One thing that has changed is that now, the right rear tail light is always showing as being out and from the moment I turn on the engine. And to be clear, by out, I mean there is no brake light or turn signal. The halo still comes on, reverse still works and even the brake/turn light blinks every now and then but just for a couple of flashes.
Weirdest stupid thing and for the life of me, I just don't know how to solve that one. I'd be so happy if I could just replace the bulb but there's clearly something more going on here and I have a feeling it involves the computer
