mine started the same way, both batteries, went about 8 months before it wouldn't start at all; something about that aux battery when it goes, it damages the primary battery.

I have a good AGM charger with conditioning cycles, both batteries crapped and would not charge

Pfft, batteries? Time to do an aux delete… and if you’re really cool, try a main delete… you won’t do it.

I figured. Honestly, I feel like that had a good run. Hell, my stock tires made it to 60K.

If I delete the aux battery, should I do the speedo and mpg gauge delete at the same time so I can safely descend hills?

Screw it, I’ll follow the Jeep engineers’ lead and replace both batteries. They know a bit more than me.

Battery recommendations? On my JKURs I used to get Odyssey or Platinum batteries. This two battery thing is a bit new to me. Is it better to get two of the same brand or does it really matter?

I get the O'rielly brand these days, a Utah store recently warranted the auxiliary battery i bought in Texas no questions asked.

What Jeeeep said or at least for the auxiliary battery. I’ve run Odyssey and Interstate for the main.

This^^ I have odyssey for my main and just a cheap Napa battery (no orilly near me) for the aux
