The chef at Big Ku was awesome...his restaurant was shut down permanently in Nawlins last year, so decided to take this gig on a flyer, and I’m glad he did. He makes his own salami, pate, pork rillets, pickles, pickled mustard seed. His gumbo might have been the best I ever tasted, and I’ve had my share in NO over the years...
