Fire in California

Interesting week... At my sons High School baseball game last Sat and about 8 of the families on the other team lost their home... We were all sitting together and It was crazy how positive they all were but you could feel the loss. Last night at our Baseball Parent Meeting the Head Coach welcomed a new parent who lost their home and explained to everyone that any kid new to the school because of the fires who wants to play, is automatically on the team... no tryouts needed. I spoke to the father afterwards and he is overwhelmed by the generosity he has experienced. Donation drop offs are everywhere... almost seems like too much... And today my partner got a call to build a new house in our area for a displaced family.

I can tell you its really awesome to see that Humanity is still a thing around here.

let's see if newsom uses some of that 50 million dollar budget to fight Trump on this...
if he does, will it wake up California to see their governor doesn't give a shit? (pretty sure the fires have already enlightened many)
