Critter Tread - Trapping

We're out on the back deck and I'm messing with this thermal scope. It's not even on a gun yet. 10 feet off the deck in a tree is a possum or a bird's nest. Hasn't moved in awhile but it's there. I was trying to identify and had record on. No kidding, coyote came into view right under the tree. Woods are thick but I got video of the heat signature. We've got lights on and have been talking. He gave zero fucks. We've never seen him in this spot. GIF file was shit, but here's a screen shot. This was about 30 minutes after sundown so I may know where he's residing now.

Dug out a yellow jacket nest that we’ve been dealing with. Always had a ton of yellow jackets in the yard but this year was insane. Couple weeks ago finally found a nest by running it over with the lawn mower and hundreds of those assholes chasing me across my back yard. Thats huge! Those fuckers don’t mess around, stuck my foot in one when I was was probably 13 or so. Luckily they mainly attacked my foot and leg!

That’s massive. Those fuckers are so nasty. My poor dog found a nest in our last houses yard. She got all stung up. Of course she got scared and ran to my wife for help so she got all stung up too.

Damn. They're been building that for awhile. How'd you kill them before digging?
Experimented with a few different things. Diatomaceous Earth and Lime sprinkled all around and on the opening. Did that for about a week. Was still seeing yellow jackets and they would create a new tunnel to avoid the powder. So I tried Sevin powder. Immediately they were cooked. They started pouring out but touched the poison on their way out and either turned around and went back in or tumbled around a bit and died.
