Thanks man. It took me for ever to actually do it. I have only talked about it for months now.
Haha I'm in the same boat. I either want to pant them black or get clear ones because I hate the look of the yellow ones I have

I have seen a common theme lately about people not liking the orange lens.
I think it's due the the 14-15 JKs coming factory with clear haha. They look so damn good not yellow
Looks like im wrong then lolEvery 14-15 I've seen has clear lenses
Congrats on the 14 bolt. You won't get that cheap on the front unless your lucky.
Alright well as most know my Jeep is still on the D44s and I keep saying im gonna grenade them before I put a set of tons under it. Well it looks like those tons might come before I grenade them. Last Thursday I went to the junk yard looking for a shifter boot for my Toyota but happened to stumble upon a 14bolt sitting in a 3500 GMC work truck. Friday I decided I had to go back and get it. Took my brother and started to pull it out.

After we got it all unbolted and sitting on the ground we realized we had nothing to cut the parking break lines with so we decided to go home and come back today (Sunday). We cut the lines and then drug it out from underneath the truck.

They came and got it with the forklift and put it on the trailer for me.

So the plan for this axle is to clean it up and go through it to see whats gonna stay and whats going to be replaced. Ill most likely stick with stock shafts. Im going to run a 5.38 gear since I cant go any lower and I will more then likely just weld it up for the locker. I will also be doing a disk brake conversion on it.
I see you took my advice bud lol. Congrats on the new axle! Hope the install isn't too much of a headache for you!
I call dibbs on your wheels and tires when you change out lug patterns :cheesy:
I scored a 1980 Chevy one ton that ran and drove for $500 from a farmer a few years back. Ran and drove but didn't have a straight body panel on it. I pulled the motor and sold to a friend for $250. Junked the cab, flat bed, and other pieces that were junk and made almost $400. Kept the front 60, 465 tranny, and 205 case. The 60 needs rebuilt of course but I have no money in it right now. Most junk yards around me want $1k for a 60 in unknown condition.
Keep your eyes open for vehicles setting in the weeds around you. You might luck out and find something good.
I hear ya. Ill probably even just go with a steel wheel at first because I doubt after everything ill have enough money for another set of beadlocks at first.Hey I'll take what I can get :clap2:
