Building Clutch's Battle Station

Little update. Instead of buying any of those items I mentioned a few weeks back I ended up getting an Impact Driver and a set of Pro-Comp LED Headlights. We’ll see how they work out.

Since I had to remove the fog lights while installing the PS BFH bumper combined with the shorter days, I’ve really start to notice how deficient the stock headlights are. I’ve literally been driving down the road and flipping the lights on and off to make sure they are actually on.

I’m also preparing to install the Dynatrac Pro Steer Ball joints this weekend, I’m sure tools and cuss words will be a fly’n!

Soak everything in penetrating oil the night before: unit bearing, ball joints, bolts, etc. Really helps. Good luck. And your floor jack handle doubles as a damn nice leverage bar when turning the ball joint press, lol.

Ball joints are not all that bad to install, just allow yourself plenty of time. Don’t even try to pull the speed sensors out of hubs cuz they’ll snap right off. Also make sure you have a press with the angled attachment.

Thanks guys, floor jack handle as extra leverage for the breaker bar is a great tidbit.
