Awesome wheels. But do you need beadlocks for stock tires.
38's are great and I've run them on JET and still run them on our 392 but really wanted to keep the spare in the factory location. Also, as you've mentioned, on a Trail Grappler, the 38 comes in a 13.50 and like you, I was wanting to stick with 12.50. Of course, this is to say nothing about how a 38 costs more than a 40Nice, 37’s. I’ve been going back and fort on 37/38’s. I’d like to stick with 12.50’s or narrower myself so I can’t wait to see how this build shapes up.
Woohoo! Can't wait to get a set of those! And an axle... and lockers... and gears... and well fuck. Anyway excited to see them mounted!37" Nitto Trail Grapplers for the win
Lift?Been a while since I've had time to work on BANDIT and I think it's time to change that!! Here's a few shots of things to come
First, a reminder of what it looks like now.
And, what a set of bigger shoes will make it look like - or, sort of anyway
Here are a few shots of the size difference between the two.
Ummm, I do recall saying that this truck would be used for chores and hauling but I don't believe I ever promised not to modify it. If anything, I'm pretty sure I said I did want to make it into something I could wheel and that was a big part of why we got it as a Rubicon. And really, I'd hardly consider 37's and a basic lift to clear them to be out of the norm for most people. But then, that's just meIsn't this the Jeep that you promised would be used for chores like hauling, and so it was not going to be modified?
