Hey I’m looking at a 2014 Jeep wrangler unlimited sport it has 110,391 miles 6 speed manual transmission it has the 3.6 motor they are asking 19,995. This a good buy or a crappy buy

I would stay away from a 3.8 unless your plan includes a motor and trans swap.
Bigger tires lift etc it won’t get out of its own way.

Like others have said - I would highly recommend looking at 2014-2017 years first, 2012-2013 second. Chances the head issue on the 12-13 would have already happened by now There's gotta be something out there close to you in that range and you'll be the happier for it.

Okay cause the 08 I found is about 8 thousand compared to a 2014 around 10 to 14 thousand. That’s why I’m asking a lot about the difference in the motors and making sure it will be okay for camping wheeling and daily driving

okay i went and looked at a 2008 like I said I was going to, I know they have issues with the oil cooler and lack of power. It has 213 miles on it tires are about 80% life and is clean except the back gate, and the drivers rear was dented in a accident but its been straightened out where everything works and closes and is not on a salvage title, it has a clean title. It didn't have any rust or anything I could see. but the guy who has it I told him my situation in what I have to do to get a newer jeep for my self and he is willing to work with me if I get my grand Cherokee sold and let me drop a a large amount down and let me make payments till payed off. So I have looked at a few others and people are hard to work with on buying a jeep and working a deal and payments on

Thats what I have been told but talking with the seller yesterday he hasn't had to do anything with the oil cooler or anything. he said it has good oil pressure and had no problems picking up speed or passing cars and trucks on the interstate doing 80mph

2008, 213 miles? how much are they asking?
80% tire wear, I'd check the date on the tires, if they're over 5 years old... they'll need to be replaced
Is it currently driven daily?

what type of accident caused the dented rear? I'd check the frame and rear mounts (shocks, control arms etc...)

the 3.8 lacks power, like my 2010, it's the transmission that sucks. the engine isn't so bad but long trips are a beating.

Tires arer fairly new and he does drive it daily frame is good and the arms are all good and all lines are good, the only issue he thinks is going on with the abs light on is the abs module. but all shocks and control arms are good or have been replaced. he hasn't been able to do emissions due to the abs light being on, he said it stops just fine with no problems he asking $10gs but willing to let me do payments with a good amount of cash down

I can tell you from experience, the ABS light can be a number of things, I've been chasing the issue on my 2010 JKU.
Ask if he has the ABS error codes.
The ABS module is around $500 but supposedly, there is a specific code for it - my JKU has not thrown the code but all the wire chasing I've done is point to the module.

Best case, it's a bad abs sensor, abs line or possible tone ring - need a good reader that will identify the faulty ABS line
