2013 JKX build from stock to JKX ready

So we watched and loved the JKX Wild Wild West thanks to Eddie and Cindy. How many of us wish we could've been there? To think, this dickwad got invited, got free tires then bitched out.....
 
What this guy did was wrong....but I think it's time to get over it. If he did log in and stay a while what are you guys going to say? The same thing that this thread has become! And then what? He's supposed to apologize and it's going to make everything better. No, it's not.
What's done is done. I don't know any of the people that sponsor or run the JKx, however I feel that they are probably over it. This guy not showing up didn't affect them in any way just the way it didn't affect any of you.

I think you're confusing giving this guy shit and giving a shit. I am sure everyone is "over it." But that doesn't mean fun can't be had.

I say this drinking a beer with no skin in the game. Just an observation. Peace :)

Ok sure however, a joke gets old pretty quick. The life span of a joke is 3 months top. Time for a new joke, move on.
 
Fuck that shit! This guy is a tool and needs to be remembered so it doesn't happen again. Some of these JKX sponsors we count as friends and yes it did affect them. They were limited to how many they could hand out as well as feeling betrayed. If your friends got fucked over would you be okay with it?

Benito, I am going to take into account that you owned up to not knowing the people who run the JK Experience, but you are just making a grand assumption. Even though you may have read through this thread from the start, and all the way to this point, you may be missing the moral of the story: If you take advantage of people who do more for the offroading industry daily (that would be the owners of the JKX) than almost anyone, well do not expect to just get away with it like nothing every happened. However, If walking away with almost $3000 worth of tires and disappearing with zero explanation of why, and never even attempt to return the tires is cool in your book.....maybe you are on the wrong site :idontknow:

Now for the most important part: More than just a few people on this site know the owners of the event. Some of those people are even extremely close friends with the owner and his family. I happen to personally know what 13JKUR (original poster and tire thief) did, absolutely did affect the JK Experience owner...... and no, he and his family are not over it. In fact, less than two weeks ago in Moab, it was one of the topics we covered late one night while drinking beers after a great day of wheeling.

Again, I understand you may be new to thread and/or forum, but there is more to this than just a thread that gets a bump occassionally.

Although we have a lot of fun with the bump of this thread, make no mistake about it that those of us taking part absolutely do give a shit about what 13JKUR got away with.


And lastly, nothing above was written in anger, I harbor no ill feelings towards the guys I'm replying to here, but sometimes the record needs to be set back on course with facts. Cheers my friends ;)

I understand and I'll put it this way which I was trying to convey. Not give a shit about HIM, I understand about caring about what he DID.

That was my first comment in this tread, and my point was that I understand why people are pissed. He STOLE!

So in short. He's a dick :)
 
I think that if 13JKUR were to come and face the music then everyone could eventually move on. Deservingly, he would get lambasted, ridiculed, and likely banned if he tried to defend his actions, even a little bit. However, the thread could then be allowed to die. Maybe not overnight, but over time.

The fact that he committed felony larceny under the guise of friendship and then flew the coup, never to be heard from again, certainly warrants a little reminding bump every now and again.

13JKUR, you're a snake and a coward. I sleep great at night, how about you?

Fuck this guy. I have no intention to let this thread die. You know how many people apply that want to go? A lot! This fucker got accepted and ditched with a bunch of free shit that could have went to someone else.

And for everyone else, he stole more then tires. He had other things sent to him as well that he also never sent back. He post on JKF "haha no I didn't go things came up." Yeah he sounds really sorry for what he did.
 
Unlike my pal GCM2, I think those that choose to whine about posting on thread can choose to leave. I second the sentiments about this jack hole and feel a bump every now and then is in order. 13jkur lacks intestinal fortitude, testicles and integrity. :yup:
