1980 CJ7 Daily Build

That sucks about the intake gasket.

If you could source a sheet of the base material it would be easy to make one that fits.

Finished installing the intake manifold, installed new carb gaskets and got that installed. Installed new front main seal and timing cover. Installed oil pan with new gaskets

Turned engine over by hand and feels solid 🤔 Now need to order a water pump, clutch and a lot of vacuum hose 😅

No updates on the CJ besides finding out I have the wrong seat brackets and have no idea where the originals are 😬

Does anyone have the part numbers for the factory rubicon fox shocks for gladiator? My stock ones are done after the new year run and found some on offer up but person selling them can’t confirm if they are JL or JT 🤦 (does it matter?)

Stock Fox JT Fronts:
68341383AF

Stock Fox JT Rears:
68341415AF

The front end of JT/JL is the same, but I think you’ll need the JT bushings for the rear shocks at the frame mount if you end up finding a set of JL stocks.

I don’t know if they’re tuned differently for weight and whatnot however.

Thank you for those part numbers! Yea I kinda figured they were tuned different. Looks like those shocks are correct next up is trying to find a rubicon sway bar 😅
