The final result...

I just painted the rings with Rustoleum primer and finishing with flat black paint. Before painting I hit them with 500 grit sandpaper and brake cleaner.

For the record, I talked to Method and they now have a shim kit (released a few weeks ago) for 37's and larger. The ring was coning and this resulted in snapping bolts. Today I'm putting my ATX's on, gonna go with black rings. You guys made some great suggestions above! Thanks! For the...

It's balmy here. Jeep is plugged in out in the driveway. On my '12 the block heater cord was bundled up behind the driver side headlight. With a bit of a push I was able to get it in front of the radiator (off to the side). Easy access!

Ran into some trouble with my Methods today, broken bolts. Discount tire took care of me like a champ! I ordered a set of ATX Chamber Pro 2's in black to replace the month-old Methods. Bummer, but I can't afford the risk with the methods.
