Well, the time has come for new tires. I broke 40k miles on my 2012 rubi this year and the sneakers are shot...here's what's on the agenda for next week...

3" Evo enforcer with Fox 2.0's with bump stops for 37's
1310 front DS
Method 105 beadlocks
BFG KM2 37 12.5 17's
PS tramp stamp and a few other odds and ends

I have really enjoyed my Rubicon in stock form, and can't wait to get the new tires on!

Wish me luck on the install!

Hopefully this year I'll be able to get the ice shack off the lake without anyone else's help...

A few pics of the work in process...

Notes...after about 400 miles of driving, I need more caster. Also, may need balance beads or similar.

I'm going to go lay in my driveway now (-1 deg F) and adjust my LCA's. You guys in SoCal have no idea how easy you have it. Lol.

Just played with the front caster and got it to avoid vibration yet stay somewhat going straight down the road. I started with the LCA length recommended by EVO, then ended up with 3 additional holes worth of rotation...est. 1/2 of a turn.

Also flipped my rear sway links to the outside of the sway bar. Finally seems like I've got the lift cleaned up.

Planning to try to find a good alignment shop this week to dial it in perfect.

Ran into some trouble with my Methods today, broken bolts. Discount tire took care of me like a champ! I ordered a set of ATX Chamber Pro 2's in black to replace the month-old Methods.

Bummer, but I can't afford the risk with the methods.

What color should I paint the beadlock rings on the new ATX Chamber pro's?

Was thinking a flat red....any other pics or ideas out there?

Oh no, Im guessing they snapped when torquing them. Was it just the one wheel? Ive been thinking about getting these wheels but now Im not so sure.

I've got a black and red theme going with mine and you can check out cozdude's build thread to see exactly how it would look with red rings, but I'm not sure that would work on your white rig.

I personally vote for painting the wheel insides white to match and the rings flat black like the methods were. Just my :twocents:

as dave mentioned above i have the chamber pros and i did a red ring. i got a factory paint from automotivetouchup.com per overlanders suggestion. came out perfect and doesnt run (watery) like the mopar touch up paint i have.

Jeep looks solid!!! How long before the Gear swap? bummer about the Methods,, i'v never seen that before, but the bolts should not have snapped during torquing if you were set at 22-25 lbs. I think you will like the ATX's better in the long run.

PS. We So Cal residents do appreciate our weather! For example, I was just running errands today in a T-shirt and shorts, with no top and no doors. And I actually took a brief moment to feel bad for the poor soles on the east coast. And for an even more brief moment wished I was there to play in the snow!!:bleh:

For the record, I talked to Method and they now have a shim kit (released a few weeks ago) for 37's and larger. The ring was coning and this resulted in snapping bolts.

Today I'm putting my ATX's on, gonna go with black rings. You guys made some great suggestions above! Thanks!

For the record, you can fit (4) 37's and 4 wheels in the back of a suburban with the second row up and the third row folded down. Lol
