Tachyon's JKUR (soon to be) on 37's

Nice. Let us know how the chamber pros work out for you. I am torn between them and the slabs. Not sure which way I'm going to go

For the record, I talked to Method and they now have a shim kit (released a few weeks ago) for 37's and larger. The ring was coning and this resulted in snapping bolts.

Today I'm putting my ATX's on, gonna go with black rings. You guys made some great suggestions above! Thanks!

How are you painting the rings? I am considering regular slabs and would want the rings black.

Thanks and please post up some pictures when you get everything out together! :)

I just painted the rings with Rustoleum primer and finishing with flat black paint. Before painting I hit them with 500 grit sandpaper and brake cleaner.

I haven't had them balanced yet, but a quick run down the freeway and not a hint of vibration. That really surprised me. I should add that I have a small business building tire balances for motorcycles, airplanes, and boat propellers...so I'm necessarily a balancing rookie...

Ran into some trouble with my Methods today, broken bolts. Discount tire took care of me like a champ! I ordered a set of ATX Chamber Pro 2's in black to replace the month-old Methods.

Bummer, but I can't afford the risk with the methods.

Glad I ran across this, I was really considering the 105's for my build because I really love the look of them.

Considering I plan on 37's, I'm gonna go with slabs or chambers. Thanks for the info!

Bumpers always look naked to me without a winch. Even if you have lights mounted up...

Warn is running a $150 rebate right now you could take advantage of. Just sayin'.

Well, looks like the build is done, I've had loads of fun, hit EJS this year, have had the Jeep perform flawlessly on a few trips, and overall I'm really happy with how it came together.

Here's a few last pics, I'm probably going to put it up for sale soon and move on to some other toys for a while...
