What @jeeeep said.
I don’t know if the configuration is the same on the 3.8 as my 3.6 but FWIW,
I broke a wire on mine a couple years ago and replaced the whole shooting match because the pins looked wore out.
Here’s the deal though, twice a month the light started coming on with a CEL too...
OP, I have installed this same lift before.
I followed manufacturers install lengths which IIRC are very close to stock, maybe 3/8” longer.
Set the length of your rear lowers per the instructions and adjust the uppers to correct pinion angle.
Hope you get it sorted out.
I’m jealous of your year-round spots like that.
I’m trying to get some lift-access in once a week until middle of October when they switch to winter sports.
I still have spots I can hit in the winter that are 5 minutes from my house, but there are 8 weeks or so that I have to drive ~4.5 hours...
As much as Stellantis is a bullshit car company like all the others, I personally think the ‘24 wrangler rubicon is still the best vehicle on the market.
We bought one for my wife in April…
-8 speed trans
-JL Pentastar
-Lightweight, narrow body compared to the bronco or any other mid-size...
I believe @Ddays made a comment a while back suggesting that Jeep offer a throw-back base model with minimal electronics.
How sweet would that be. Just a stretched 2 door JK with half doors and no extras. They wouldn’t have to offer trims or variations. Just one model to keep assembly costs...
Late to the party, but can confirm that trash-talking Creed was basically a requirement in the 90s and early 2000s.
Can also confirm that, yes, they are cool now. Can’t explain it, but when the chorus drops on One Last Breath, I’m all in.
Dude, just when I think I am kind of odd, this thread reminds me that there are some odd freakin people out there…the duck thing is getting out of hand. It just seems inappropriate. I don’t understand the correlation…
