    show your sunrise/sunset pictures

Thanks, yea wife’s jeep, so I was the passenger for a change. Was able to take some pics. And yea the jeep has <3,000 miles on it. The windshield is in rare form. I will plug Racing Optics Windshield defense though. Holds up, and is easy to clean.

The rebuild of LULU the 2013 Jeep rubicon

Rotopax actually crossed my mind this weekend. Simply out of convenience. Got down off the trail and back to the camp site at 7 PM. Realized I had to drive 15 miles in to Alamosa and get gas if I wanted to be able to wake up at 6AM and drive straight through the sand dunes and make it to...

lol, I haven’t seen the LCBO sign in 20 years. Cheers. Used to drive across from the states when we were only 19.

    Electronic throttle control warning

What @jeeeep said. I don’t know if the configuration is the same on the 3.8 as my 3.6 but FWIW, I broke a wire on mine a couple years ago and replaced the whole shooting match because the pins looked wore out. Here’s the deal though, twice a month the light started coming on with a CEL too...

Metal on metal noise rear end

OP, I have installed this same lift before. I followed manufacturers install lengths which IIRC are very close to stock, maybe 3/8” longer. Set the length of your rear lowers per the instructions and adjust the uppers to correct pinion angle. Hope you get it sorted out.

    A Dirt Head's JK

I’m jealous of your year-round spots like that. I’m trying to get some lift-access in once a week until middle of October when they switch to winter sports. I still have spots I can hit in the winter that are 5 minutes from my house, but there are 8 weeks or so that I have to drive ~4.5 hours...

The problem is, as @wayoflife and @AZVAJKU alluded to, I don’t know if the jeep I’m describing will be available in 5 years…

French owned, Portuguese driven, Stellantis is killing Jeep etc...

As much as Stellantis is a bullshit car company like all the others, I personally think the ‘24 wrangler rubicon is still the best vehicle on the market. We bought one for my wife in April… -8 speed trans -JL Pentastar -Lightweight, narrow body compared to the bronco or any other mid-size...

French owned, Portuguese driven, Stellantis is killing Jeep etc...

I believe @Ddays made a comment a while back suggesting that Jeep offer a throw-back base model with minimal electronics. How sweet would that be. Just a stretched 2 door JK with half doors and no extras. They wouldn’t have to offer trims or variations. Just one model to keep assembly costs...
