Say it wasn't jreids brothers jeep that this had been done to. Therefore no past of the bumper scenario

Would this predicament be plausible?

Not arguing with you because God knows I don't want to be on the wrong side of you haha but do you think it could possibly have happened? The same way that was described in the thread

Boy this is a fun thread.( been lurking and watching along) Interesting little fact from my own experience. I have a favorite place to go wheel around near home and have seen very similar circumstances with broken rigs left out over night. One comes to mind pretty recently with an old scout II that was left broken well off the beaten path. The next day it was 200 or so yards down the hill upside down and beat up pretty badly. The poor guy and his friends were not prepared for such a retrieval as it was in a really bad spot. They gave up and returned the following day with more help and a wrecker on call once it was accessible. All that was left was some litter, broken out windshield and one brake drum. Damn woods trolls are pretty ambitious at night I guess. Point is ANYTHING can and does happen out there in the dark. I have seen the leftovers of this kind of misfortune in more places than not. Is this the case here? I don't know. Is it fraud? Maybe maybe not. Only thing I know for sure is I always go prepared to spend the night, armed, and make sure someone knows where to come look if I don't make it back. Damn tweaker zombie woods trolls are out there just waiting. It is amazing how far they will go.

Said I'd be back when it's done. Not 24hrs after "someone" said there gonna call and be a snitch, my brother gets a call and says his incident has had a fraud investigation opened up against it. He then had to get a letter notarized allowing access to all his call logs, texts, and his sun pass accounts (tolls in FL) along with all receipts for purchases trying to recover it (starter relays etc etc trailers, dates) and on top of that reviewing these.

Received a call today that the investigation is over and he should receive his check after payoff in 2 days. Jeep is totaled and there was no fraud. All of you that thought otherwise you were wrong, and no matter your opinion your thinking isn't as good or better then an Allstate fraud investigation team. A lot of you showed your true colors and I appreciate that
 
Good for your brother. Hopefully he's learned from this and won't be as much of a complete idiot in the future.

I can only hope that much lol problem is he's left his shit out on trails before and I've always rescued him. This time I couldn't and it bit him in the ass. I pray he's learned

Wow, he has a very amenable cell phone carrier. Out here, carriers won't give over information like that to third parties (even with consent of the line owner) absent a court-issued subpoena.
 
God that took forever to read, entertaining read tho. People these days are truly horrible people, that could go for either the clowns who did the vandalism or your brother if he was truly commiting fraud (not saying he is). Humanity is doomed at this point and there is no such thing as the good old days anymore with now days society.

That "someone" would have to know the insurance carrier would they not? With the list of events the ensued its no wonder they opened a case.
