I have a special decanter bottle brush. Small amount of dish soap and hot water. Coarse salt is interesting???
Not all “wine” but some of it is. Had a little pick up at the meadery.

As a teenager I waited tables and that’s how we cleaned the coffee carafes. A scoop of ice and salt swirled for a few seconds.
