Windrock Park - TN - January 24-25

Thats a good deal for sure. I just bought some rubi rails so ill have to see what i can swing in the next couple weeks.

I got mine on ebay from a cb radio store that tunes and configures them included in the price. I am a complete novice when it comes to radios and all that, so I figured I'd let them do all that stuff for me. But yes You can get them for $98 on ebay or amazon without the tuning and all that.

im a maybe on this one have to see if i can get time off work for this plus the money to make the drive from south GA

No better time then now to make a road trip. Once you cross over into Tennessee the gas prices are under $2!!!!!!

BTW, any essentials we should bring? I'm still new to the of road world and don't know what all I need to bring.

Right now in my recovery items I have an impact wrench, 300 piece tool set, and a snatch strap.

What else do you think I should have?

"snatch strap" like a voodoo rope? Or snatch block?

You should be good with that. I always have my impact, Viair compressor, tow strap, gloves, and various tools. I also always bring a cooler with some drinks and snacks, never know. I usually through in some rubber boots and a couple towels just in case things get real muddy.

GR8WHITE, its a recovery strap. One that you use to yank a vehicle out of mud. I don't have a winch yet... saving up for all the essentials needed to jump up to 37" tires....

Thardy, thanks for the other items. I'm definitely bringing extra snacks and food. I always forget how exhausting wheeling is until I'm tired and grumpy at the end of the day.

Looks good man!

Thanks man its been going a little slow cause my dad been pretty sick so we havnt touched it much. I been working on the rail buggy 😫🔫. Talk about a piece lol. I guess I cant really expect a 1969 motor to run that great with god knows how many miles are on it. I think im just gonna have to rebuild the motor in it. ATTACH]117519[/ATTACH]

Damn! Wish you guys were doing this trip in February lol

I'm moving to Chattanooga (permanently; getting out of the Army) for my new job on that weekend...but I'm super excited to check out all the awesome wheeling in TN!! I've heard so many good things about the area.

Maybe I'll run into you guys later down the road! Have fun and post up some pics in this thread!
