Hope yall have a great time! Move me to the maybe list cause it's still a possibility lol anything can happen right?

Sucks to hear man, but I definitely understand. There will be plenty of other runs. Hell, just try to get those axles under that bad boy come next August!! :thumb:

That sucks brother but we all understand. Maybe we can schedule a run after Thanksgiving and before Christmas to N GA or maybe Choccolocco for a day ride.

I've always wanted to go wheeling down there!!! So I'll be in for that run!!!

I'm doing a little maintenance too. I'm cutting my fenders (finally) to help make room for my tires that hopefully get here before Friday!!!

Can you do pics as you do process. Have a friend that wants to cut his.

No problem! I'm doing my cutting with a Dremel tool. I feel like I can control it better, even if it is slower. And I'm leaving the fender on the Jeep while I cut it, but I am taking the inner fender liner off and cutting it then pitting it back on, which is a sob right now because those little clips that keep them on are stupid hard to get off and not break lol

I think that is the best way.

I don't have any pics of what my rear fenders looked like before but here's the finished product. I took a ruler and measured out 4" and made a little scratch on the fender every few inches and then laid down the tap. Then after some adjusting, I started cutting. Here's the end result for the rear. May end up cutting a little more off later

Looks good. I used a jig saw and a dremel. I just had to be patient and not rush it.

I would use a jigsaw. But the process is what I was wondering. I've never cut any before.
Mock it up with tape. Pull the liners. Then down approximately 2 beers, give or take. Go to cutting. Lol. I actually cut mine with a good set of hand shears. Very easy to get a controlled, accurate cut. Tried the dremel but i was getting covered in molten plastic.
