Wish I would have known you were a Wayalife'er....I was there. Drove 4 hours from Kansas City to come up and are the jeeps and meet Mel and everyone else. Guess he thought it was cool because he posted the pic on off road Evolution's Facebook. I thought it was awesome meeting him and the others that I got to meet. Just didn't have time to meet everyone and didn't want to make myself a bother to the people who were in it. Hopefully next year!!!!

Last night at about 3am I couldn't sleep so I was scrolling through Facebook and came across that picture on Mel's Facebook. I did a double take and went... is that Rumblebee3??? Lol, I almost commented it but didn't want to make a fool of myself if it wasn't you. That's awesome, good stuff!

Well we were on the beach west of Tampa and decided to leave before the witch!?! Irma arrived. Planned ahead, left with a full tank and plenty of provisions (my logistics officer is always on point aka the wife!). Ran north through Florida, stopped in GA for the night, head west through Alabama and Mississippi then stopped in Memphis. Running dirt roads and then BAM when we hit the hard top. No brakes. Rear passenger carriage bolts walked their way out and it was dangling from the brake line. No pressure. Babied it 25 miles to the next town slapping the auto stick down threw the gears to slow door and pulling the e-brake to stop. After no one had the bolts, pads, or an open rack I rented a uhaul trailer and the only truck available to tow it home. So the Family Truckster is home. I'll go to the local parts store and get what I need in the morning to fix her up. FU Irma!!!!
