This old cabin is one my path to walk a couple dogs today. Nice little break from the normal work. You can see Atlas (big malamute) laying in the snow to the right of the cabin.

I hear ya. I saw a similar setup at the most recent EJS. As someone who travels solo pretty regularly, and likes to camp, I do really like the concept of having a self contained camping setup like that.

Saw an Ursa Minor top up close for the first time in a while - honestly not as bad as I remember it looking, just maybe too much of a bedlined finish that clashes with the fenders I suppose.

Was walking a dog for a client today, came across a baby moose that got startled out of the trees. Next thing I know, a momma moose started chasing us! Didn’t get a picture of that, but I hadn’t been that scared ever… they move fast in the snow! It got within 10 ft of me and I let the dog run, luckily it chased the dog and I got behind some trees.

That was my number one thing I didn't want to spook when I backpacked in the high country. My primary reason for carrying a 50 cal. I've heard numerous stories of protective moms getting really pissed at dogs. Maybe it's in their nature because they normally live where wolves do.
