What was done to your rig this week?

Did a full brake job. Got about 50k miles out of them (Dynatrac Pro Grips). The fronts had about 10% left the rears had about 30% left. The front calipers were really sticking on the slides so that probably explains the excessive wear. I'm happy because no more squeaks, chirps, and rattles when braking. Also it was one of the jobs outside of an oil change where everything went smoothly...haha. I did discover I do have a rear axle seal leak though. So we'll tackle that when I get some more free time.

Got most of the Passenger side apart, a LOT faster than Driver, old knuckle is hanging on half shaft. Back was already killing me and didn't want to crawl under to mess with FAD.

For you old farts (like me) this tool will save you some pain of trying to ring the ball joints out (both on knuckle and on tie rod and drag link.

it's time... should have followed my gut instinct and replaced the damn oil cooler filter housing when I did plugs and coils.
And.... the tick is louder 🤬🙈 but out of my comfort range to diy.
consolidating all the thoughts and swear words in my head down to one word... yay...
You did plugs and coils but can’t do the oil filter housing? It’s not that tough.

Installed the BulletPoint RubiGrid and Grab Bar Mounts for a couple of cell phones, my iPad and RadTel RT-495 programmable GMRS handheld radio. The packaging was almost as well thought out as the product. It was an easy install and I'm very satisfied. Still have to install the A pillar mounts for the CB microphone, but waiting to run a couple of wires up to the @wayoflife accessory bar first.

Make sure to test it on a heavily washboarded road. Some devices I have mounted do great, except for on a washboarded road. It is all about the intensity and frequency of vibration.
