What was done to your rig this week?

What brand and model roof rack is this?

It is a bit too much for my needs, but I would like to find a way to temporarily (only when warranted) carry a full-sized shovel and traction boards with only a minimal carrier when they are not mounted. The same for a farm (hi-lift) jack, but I have yet to find a way to mount a farm jack on a 2-door which is not really stupid in some way.
Bob, when was the last time you needed a Hi Lift?

I was having this exact conversation with myself this weekeknd while I was going through the massive amount of tools I've managed to stash in the Heep. I've used the Hi-Lift jack at home several times pulling t-posts, stretching wire and moving stuff but never needed it otherwise.

The dealership replaces it with the same failed design, I just installed these on the Gladiator:

If you JL/JT guys haven’t done this yet, I highly suggest you go ahead and buy these preemptively. My driver’s visor fell and it cut the damn wire to the garage door opener. The mirror wires are intact but I couldn’t give a shit about the mirror, but I use the opener all the time.

Did it before I left the dealer lot in Idaho to drive back down to Cali. Saw it across all Jeep forums during the two years I was shopping for a Gladiator.

Mine broke off a couple of weeks ago. Luckily it was the passenger side.

finally got around to installing a set of evo’s rock sliders. Had them powder coated and painted the step plates with steel-it. The charcoal color gave it a nice two tone look.IMG_7614.jpeg

Just ordered a set for my wife's Sahara. Her passenger visor on it's last leg. Thanks for posting link.

daughter's 2015 got new wheels

After driving it around and on the freeway, I realized the window seal quality on this 2015 is much better than the 2018 JL and the 2020 JT.
The steering on it is still nice and firm, 0 windshield air noise unlike the JL and the JT with the JT being absolutely horrible.
The overall road and air noise levels in the 2015 JK is so much lower than the JL and the JT.
