Picked up a set of body matched fenders. Been wanting a set for a while but not wanting to pay a lot. Got these for $50 and they are great shape. Got them put on and trimmed today

First off I have never seen a coil spring shatter like this. But, I was going up an icy hill hit a rock and the only thing I can think of is it bottomed out and blamm.

Wow. That's a new one. I've seen a few break over the years, but usually due to heavy rust and they only break in one spot. That's weird.
