What was done to your rig this week?

Finally got around to trimming my fenders. Thanks to Chris for the extra set!

Cut with an angle grinder and cleaned up with a sanding wheel. Took about 5 min per fender... taping took by far the longest.

Warning... you will get hot plastic on you... so wear gloves or dont be a wuss haha.

What did you use for the edges it looks awesome, I've got painted flares and am leery of cutting them

Nothing on the edges. Just cut them with the angle grinder, then put the sanding disk on the grinder with 125 grit disk and smoothed it out. NOT a flap disk... an actual sanding disk...

I've only recently come to appreciate the virtues of a bottle jack on the trail, and so this weekend I finally put one in the Jeep after making a stabilizing plate and axle cradle for it. I wonder if I’ll ever use my Hi-Lift again.

The cradle is just a couple of pieces of tube and a (rather large) universal leaf spring perch:

The stabilizer plate is a 10" by 10" square of 1/4" stock:

It works!

Added the EVO ProTek oil pan skid. Them put on some new shoes - 35/12.50/17 Toyo Open Country M/T around some ATX rims!

Thanks fellas. I stole the idea from a company called Bogert Manufacturing. They sell bottle jack kits on their website for over $200 (yes, you read that right), but I just couldn't bring myself to pay that much for something so simple. What you see in my pictures is about $35 worth of steel at retail prices.

I finally got these lights on, big thanks to Cripplepety for hooking me up with a nice light bracket! these pia lights were a gift from my brother shortly before he passed, he gave them to me for my dodge 4x4 I had before the jeep when I traded in the truck I kept them for my jeep, so happy to finally get these on
