Just got home and went to the store to buy some groceries and the egg shelf was completely empty! Like WTF - is something going on that I don’t know about??

This happened at Costco just before Thanksgiving. Last week everything was normal, however my wife tried to get eggs at target and they were all out. Easter bunny got an early jump I guess..haha

well shit, just checked my local store, no eggs, was told the shortage is caused by bird flu and if you can find them, prices are high.

That’s wild, I was at Costco yesterday and it was totally cleaned out too, I duct think much of it because the place was a zoo, but when I stopped at Raley’s on my way home, they were fully stocked so never put another thought into it until I just saw your post.

I would assume baking related. I was at two stores yesterday and baking aisles were clearly the busiest. Stores were crazy busy but baking aisles packed like strip club on nickel night.
