Congrats, great kitGot me some Lux Lights.
Rotated tires on the JL and JT today. After doing tire rotation over the weekend I noticed that my front pads are not far from being done. Only 12k miles. So I ordered Mopar replacement pads from Quadratec and they were delivered in two days.
Are these the same ones everyone was waiting several months for last year?Ordered late Sunday delivered today!!!!!
I wonder if the JT has a heavier bias to the rear because of the tow rating.Rotated tires on the JL and JT today.
Rear pads near new on both Jeeps.
JL Sport with 9000 miles. Front pads looked to have 80% left on them.
JT Sport with the larger axles, with 26000 miles. Front pads looked to have 80%-90% left on them.
I don't know if the brakes on the JT MaxTow are the same as on the JLUR. But I have noticed the JT stops way easier than our JL Sport.
yepAre these the same ones everyone was waiting several months for last year?
Could be. I also wonder if the brakes had to be bigger for an official "truck" classification.I wonder if the JT has a heavier bias to the rear because of the tow rating.

Agreed! I have the Kindle versions downloaded to the devices I take off-roading with me. I used the Colorado Backroads book recently when we were exploring and wanted to go to Loch Lomond! The only issue I have found is that some trails have degraded since publication - the Loch Lomond trail being a good example - and are now more difficult than stated. We found this out after we began traversing the trail in my Jeep AND my brothers Subaru Crosstrek... Somehow his Subi made it, but it was darn close!Great books!
