Sure, I suppose you guys could just run with us the first couple of days. I should note that Saturday will just be our trip out to Ely. We will get to do some exploring but for the most part, it's just a driving day and won't have anything to do with the California Trail. Sunday will include a visit to the Interpretive Center near Elko but again, most of the day will be on the road getting back to where we left off near Winnemucca. Also, we will be camping on Sunday night. Most of Monday will be spent on the trail if you can hang with us longer.

I think I can make this one! As far as planning, what time will you be leaving Carson City on the 13th?

And then just so I am clear, camping the night of the 13th, Virginia City on the 14th, and Downieville on the 15th?

No kidding? That would be great if you could make it. I think a lot of folks are coming up on Friday the 12th but being that you're somewhat close, you can just meet up with us in the morning if you want. I'm hoping to do breakfast at 8am and then be on the road no later than 9am. We will be staying in Ely for the first night (13th) and camping the next (14th). Virginia City on the 15th and Downieville on the 16th. You can head for home on the 17th.

We might slip out from Nevada City but will let you know.
 
We will come over Friday afternoon to Carson, stay in Ely and camp Sunday night with the group and head home Monday night, probably after dinner with everybody.

Yep, we are in!

Go ahead and send me info for the night of the 12th, and the 17th, but I think more than likely, we will head up early Sat morning to meet in Carson City, and then head back from Nevada City.
