VIDEO : RockJock HD High Steer Kit Installation

The unboxing is pretty much the signature move at this point .. and it's just awesome. As always, an excellent video that makes the install straightforward and understandable. And..... is a large part of the work to do ball joints which is something every jeep owner is going to need to do far sooner than later !!

I appreciate the use of the jack stands...and then I realize that I really do want a lift in my garage. My knees are screaming just thinking about all the up and downs ...... getting old sucks.

great video as always!

I may have missed it but is there a min amount of lift required to run something like this kit?

LOL! To be honest, you probably don't need this for your Gladiator being that it already has iron knuckles and not a whole lot of lift. Of course, you did say that you do want to install a lift on it and this would help to correct your steering geometry so... 🤪

Definitely going to do a lift and 37’s on @Traciehue ’s Gladiator this summer so upgrading the steering would be a great addition. 👍🏻

Awesome video, and really enjoyed the table slamming- especially knowing it pisses some people off. 😂🤣

LOL - happy to hear you can appreciate the box openings 😁 Also, happy to hear you found our video to be helpful and yes, what you see is a big part of what is needed for a ball joint replacement. Of course, we do have this video too for those who need it (y)

Awesome video! It is a really nice kit! Looking forward to seeing how it performs on the trail.
Thanks and yes, looking forward to testing it out :)
Love the video!!! Been a while so it was a much needed treat!!!’
Ty
Awesome and thank you! It has been a while :)

Thank you and you do need a minimum of 2.5" of lift and a max of 6"
Finally got around to watching this. Looks like a nice kit.

The table slamming was too funny. I so hope the guy that made that comment years ago still watches your channel.

Any red lock loctite comments yet?
LOL - you have to know that we purposefully do this as loud and obnoxiously as we can because of comments like his.

And so far, no red loctite comments but you know they're coming LOL

LOL - it really is too funny how it pisses people off and yes, I do think this will make a good addition to her Gladiator :)

Good video. But your not making it easy to leave my JT stock 🤣

I'm waiting on an outakes vid, y'know showing all the dumb shit that the rest of us have to deal with: Wrench slipping off of a nut and bashing your knuckles, dropping/breaking/losing the one piece you can't afford to, goddam creeper getting stuck on a grain of sand, getting air hoses stuck on anything, rounding a nut because none of the hundred sockets for it fit right(oil pan bolt anyone), 10mm socket missing.....

LOL - happy to be of help 😁
There was a bunch of comment fodder portions to this video, unboxing, loctite, lift vs jack stands, taking off an EVO track bar, etc.

Looking forward to more hate posts. 😂
Oh, you just know they are coming :ROFLMAO:

LOL - there were a couple that Cindy almost put in. Like how I got the cut on my left index finger 🤪

Might have to revisit this some time.

I actually feel bad for your table after that barrage.... poor guy :ROFLMAO:
:ROFLMAO:
That's the greatest meme I've ever seen. Literally almost spat out my coffee.

Finally got around to watching this morning and it was an excellent video as always! Had to be the best unboxing yet only because it's really just slamming, cutting, and chucking the boxes rather than really showcasing the new components :ROFLMAO:
LOL - tried really hard to go the extra mile with this one 😁
Great Video, always a wealth of information.
Awesome! Happy to hear you found our video to be informative

FYI, the bend in the tie rod in front of the diff faces down, not out. With it facing out it can cause clearance issues with the tie rod and the pitman arm joint. Ask me how I know!

I spoke to Rock Jock about this and they were supposed to update their instructions to mention this.

Huh - I just looked again and see that in the install pics, the bend in the tie rod is in fact pointing down but saw no mention of it in the instructions. I have to say I'm a little disappointed to have missed this detail as I would have made sure to include it.

Safe to assume you were having issues before changing things?
