VIDEO : RockJock HD High Steer Kit Installation

How? If track bar and drag link are parallel, there shouldn't be anything noticeably different felt.
At only 3"of lift I have slight bump steer when hitting dips at speed when both sides of the suspension is compressed . The more angled the two are vertically the more likely you are to get a little bump steer ( even with OE TB & DL ) along with the tendency for more steering correction required as the vehicle rocks from left to right on roads that are not in good condition . I have not installed mine yet but that was the main reason I bought the RJ High steer along with using Currie suspension parts for 20 years. I have read others who have done installs mention how it effected on road benefits where here mentioned nothing is my only point . It is noticeable thats why I mentioned it .

LOL - ummm, I guess I missed it if there was a question here. Of course, if you were just trying to flex your internet expertise, good for you 🏆
Not flexing sh!t . I watched the whole video waiting for your usual test ride and other than seeing you made it back not a word . I was just kindi of surprised . I was looking forward to hearing your response, like in a review , sorry

You have not installed one and yet, you’re certain that there will be such a big difference and just because of what you’ve read on the internet. Got it 👍🏻

Umm, as the title states, this is an “installation” video and NOT a “test and review” or even social media pimp one. Of course, you’ve already read on the internet how much better your steering will be so I don’t know what difference it makes what I would have to say 🤪

I was ony curious as to what your feelings were about the kit .Most experienced people can see what it looks like and I have read the description written by Currie and I was only looking for your honest opinion but you insist on thinking I am just being a dick because I asked for your opinion . I will stick to forum with more contributions its not like I just joined here but have never notice you being a smart ass before . Sorry to bother ya it won't happen again

Don't let your feelings get hurt, you have to recall that there were no issues with the suspension so there will be no difference in the handling and driving. In this install, the benefit of this kit is to get the components higher up.
If I understand you correctly, you have slight bump steer and are looking to address that issue?
If that's your question then your answer is in the last post regarding the track bar relocation and raised drag link (flipped drag link kit for stock knuckles).
I had bump steer on my jku at 3 in, trackbar relocation and drag link flip kit took care of that.
Eventually I replaced the stock knuckles with a set that were already made for drag link flip but it wasn't necessary.

Opinions cost extra! 😄

This is a quote from another install from another company .

" After the install was complete, we immediately noticed an improvement in steering that only improved further as the ball joints broke in. We’ve found the Jeep to be more directionally stable, with less wander, and just overall more pleasurable to drive, especially on the highway. The addition of the stiffer drag link tightens up the feel of the front end and allows the suspension and stabilizer to do their job of soaking up movement. All of it works together to make the steering feel more precise. "

All I wanted see was if your feelings were similar to this installer , nothing more

Does this other installer happen to be affiliated with this other company in any way?

So that we're all on the same page here, you said and I quote, "I know it does effect it and really thought it would of been mentioned . It effects the steering as much as geometry brackets do which is worth mentioning". As in, I never heard a question from you, just a declaration of what YOU KNOW.

That said, I think you've confused me as being RockJock or someone like the installer you just quoted, both of which have an incentive to sell you on a product. Me, I'm trying to do is help people by showing them how to install something like this high steer kit and so that they can do it themselves.

As far as my feeling about steering goes, you're talking to a guy who owns 9 Jeeps, most of which are old and drive like it. Of the newer ones, my big Gladiator is running about 6" of lift and NO STEERING CORRECTION and I think it handles and steers just fine. Would it benefit from steering correction? Sure! But, to the extent that someone like you has been sold on? Not really or at least, not in my opinion. But, I'm happy to tell you whatever it is you want to hear if it'll make you happy (y)

Gary needs a beer. Or a hooker. Or both.
