Well, they are beefier than stock but the RockJocks aren't as easy to work with as I had hoped. I had to literally butcher a set of EVO Rockstars to make them fit for the coilover install. Probably the worst thing I've found with them so far is that Currie makes their RockJocks without a drain plug, what a PIA it is to change the gear oil in it as the diff cover is tipped forward. Also, bearings and seals are Currie Specific, can't just go to PepBoys (Larry, Moe, and Curly), to buy them.
Just wait till I add the big ass light bar across the windshield. They'll see Mumbo from space, lmao View attachment 93912
Is that a rubi case or an atlas??
It a Rubicon case. I decided it to be way too much work to swap in an Atlas.
Totally understandable. Excited to see the install on this! Congrats on the score!
It was well worth the trip to pick it up for sure, the Mrs and I met a very nice couple in the process, hopefully get to see them again in the near future. And with any luck at all I didn't tear up their driveway with my work truck, lol.
Did you visit the camp?
Well, you know, T-Case aside, it just wouldn't be right to go thru the area and not meet Eddie and Cindy. They truly are wonderful, down to earth people.
Nice!!! Looking forward to the install takeaways!
With a trip to the Rubicon coming up, I have decided to semi- permanently remove my wife's removable step and replace it with something a little "different". View attachment 99832. Normally, her step gets removed at the trailhead and just stashed in the back someplace until it's time to go home. But this makes it hard for her to climb in and out for her turn to drive or such trivial things such as writing her name in the dirt behind a large rock.
So, with that said, Mumbo is getting a nifty set of stirrups attached to the bottom of his seats. YeeHaw!!View attachment 99833
I can't wait to see the epic fail, roflmao. View attachment 99834
