The long and slow build of "................"

I did the same thing with mine. Zerks are facing down. Not sure if I'm going to flip them or not yet.

I wanted them accessible. I actually mounted them based off of your thread. I think if I weld skids on the control arm mounts on the axle I should be ok. I'll keep an eye out on your thread and see your updates as far as control arms go.

I can see from the pic what the guys are saying. Switch sides and flip would fix it, but if you are putting the skids on then yeah, I'd wait and see if its really even necessary to bother.

Decided to try these out for easy trail air down.

I use them as well. They're not too bad. I wouldn't say they're extremely accurate, but they usually get me within 3 psi of where I set them at. Try to calibrate them on a warmer day, just because likely your tires will be warm as well when driving to the trailhead. Sometimes they stick while releasing air, and you just have to manipulate the little plunger on the end, you can audibly hear it if they're acting up. We just ordered a set for the wife's Jeep.

Thank you for the review on them. I will try. And set them on a warm day and keep an eye out on the plunger. Thank you again.

Nothing like working well into the night. Nice that the weather is warm enough for you to do as much outside too.

So today has been a bit unfortunate. My wife lost her job of 5 years. This puts us at a point of possibly having to sell the jeep. Today we went to the lender to see what sort of options we have in regards to either a deferment or some sort of refinance to lower payment. Unfortunately we were told by the lender that at this moment we do not have any deferment options nor can we refinance. So the next step in the next week or 2 may be to sell the jeep back to the dealer. I was wondering if any of you knew of any options we may have to keep the jeep? Or are we just at the point we may have to let go and get one further down the line? I appreciate all of you guys help and want to say thank you in advance. Thank you!

Man, really sorry to hear that. I know you've done a lot of work on it. I myself don't know much about how that works with the loan. Could you talk to another lender to see if they would take over the loan for longer term and lower payments? Do you have equity in any property that you could refinance the jeep into?

Man, that sucks! Do you have a relationship with a local credit union? You can try Credit Karma website... They take your info and suggest lenders you have the best shot to work with based on your credit history.

Unfortunately I don't have any property and I can't find another lender to refinance because we just bought a new car 2 months ago because our dodge went out on us. Thank you so much. I would hate to get ride of the jeep. I have put so much blood sweat and tears into that thing. But my family comes first so if it has to go then it has to go. I appreciate all the help you have given me.

Yea this is the first time we have been in this situation. It's something you don't really think about more because of the time frame she has been with the company. But it goes to show that anything is possible. I did the whole lending tree thing. They do the same with suggesting lenders. And I pretty much got denied on every online app.
