The buying of "Bolder"

So the powder coater called and said they were redoing my cage. The QC person said she wasn't happy with the result and that she was making them do it again. This gives me time to decide whether I want to use my existing wiring for the ARB fridge or buy the ARB wiring kit and a new plug-in. I'm leaning toward just using my existing wiring that has been fine. Anyone switch from the old plug to the new one? The new one actually screws into the plug. whereas the old one is just push in.

Maybe this is what you mean, but you can buy just the plug part separately. I have the whole kit. Like the fact it screws in and doesn't just use a cig lighter type connection.

The wiring loom is super heavy duty and multiple layers of insulation, built in fuse and quality termination points for the battery.

If you already have the wiring all done, and are happy with it, just get the plug. [emoji106]

The wiring is in the white jeep and I'd just have to pull it and put it in the new one. Or I could just do the same thing for the new jeep. Or I could order the ARB kit and save a few minutes of work. The screw in feature is nice, but not necessary. At least as far as I know. Just looking for opinions while I wait for parts to be done.

I can't really speak on what you have now, but the wiring harness and plug from arb are really good quality. I have one in my truck and jeep and have never had and issue.

We just installed a second set of wiring in our jku. So we can use the fridge in either Jeep now. It was 40 bucks, I say do it. I literally did this yesterday.

This was as far as I could get today. Two of the clamp brackets are being redone. The center bars will have to wait until next week.
