Had a great time in Colorado. Awesome meeting a few members from WAYALIFE as well. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the past week...

I'm replacing my clutch in a few weeks along with the rear main seal, putting new rear axle in, re-gearing the front, and possibly re-doing the suspension. So I figured, while I still have crappy old parts installed.... why not drag race the Jeep? :crazyeyes:

Buddy of mine is big into the car scene and invited me out Friday night. Figured I'd see how fast the 1/4 mile is in the Banana Jeep.

Edit: forgot you had the 4cyl, had to increase my guess :cheesy:

When I first bought the Jeep, it had 215/75/15s on it and it would just barely chirp the tires from a launch. Which is also probably how I ended up breaking side gears all the time :crazyeyes: :D

Yeah, I had a 4 cyl in the TJ and the YJ (both manual trans). Neither were much for burnouts or highway driving, decent mileage though and fine off road.

I'll be interested to see the time!

I29 is an 1/8th mile I do believe. I was there all weekend is was great. I'd love to see Banana Jeep drag lol

That sounds like a lot of fun [emoji106]
 
I ran three runs down the track and my fastest time was a 13 second 1/8th mile at 52mph. I was racing a brand new Mustang GT who ran a 9 second 1/8th at 74mph. All in all, the Jeep does not belong at the track but I had loads of fun anyway. Even got some good laughs from the crowd when they saw my Jeep pull up.

Nice! I think I was pretty close if you translate a 1/4 mi = 1/8 mi X 2 :yup:

Sounds like a good time!

This was on McAllister Gulch; a good portion of the trail was literally the water. Very cool wheeling, but unlike anything I had ever done before.
