Looks like you all had a blast! I'm looking forward to doing Drummond again. :thumb:
It was good to see you up there , Bill. Our group was a carnage run. All day Saturday jeeps were broke. I broke mine probably 30 min after I came up to see if you were interested in an evening run. Matt's jeep was the only jeep not broke. My brothers front truss, Desmond broke his rear end, I snapped axel shaft. It was a quick one day family run. We did the whole marble head loop solo. It was a spectacular day and really dry for this time of year. Not many pictures, we only stopped at the beaches.

The first test run of the Ram and trailer were a success. The Ram barely noticed the trailer and Jeep and maintained 75 from Rochester to the mackinaw bridge. It average a little less than 10 MPG.
We had our first dinner out in months at Esters. It was great to be out again.

We did the Marblehead loop and fossil ledges on Saturday. The 40s walked right up all the ledges including the ledge at Marblehead. Those Nittos are so much better than my KM2s were.

Lots of awesome memories created with the kids and it was my wife’s first time up there on Drummond.

Hawk, my son, wanted to try a large my hole with out any recent tracks going in and out. I took him up on the challenge and remembered why I hate mud.

It powered thru it. It took a couple times backing up and pushing thru it, but the trail grapplers worked their magic and climbed out. But four low and locked up, the engine was really dogged down.
Loaded the jeep back up and headed home Sunday morning.

Wish I had time to run with RStRox and his group, but it was good to see everyone up there.

As of yesterday he wasnt positive. Pinion gear, maybe Arb locker but that's not likely. What did Des break on his rear?! Isn't he running a 14 bolt?

We went to Turtke ridge. The lower park. Made it to that first rock ledge as you get into the swampy area.As much fun as that could have been, it sounds like chilling out that night was a good choice. Where did you guys end up going?

How much of Turtle Ridge didn’t we get to see last time because of time and mud? I really enjoyed the few ledges we got to play on before my control arm folded.
What's the hold up?We definitely need to go back and spend a whole day in the lower section. There is a lot more to see and to conquer!

[emoji1787][emoji1787]Ya see 8 rigs showed up and only 3 drove back on the trailers in one piece. And someone needed to be pulled out tow-truck style because they had a jeep that chose to reject its rear-end parts.

There is nothing better than letting the kids get behind the wheel and learning. I can’t wait to get Liam behind the wheel again in mine. He hasn’t been out with me yet since the build so it should be interesting how he handles the hydro steering. I figure by the time he is 12 he will be fully comfortable. The smile on his face though is priceless

Ah gotcha, makes sense, seemed a bit overkill for 1 but that's the way to do itJust the Jeeps. I bought the two place to be able to load two built Jeeps and have two drivers to tag team the run cross country. Or once my scramblers done, when ever the hell that is, I’ll be able to drag both of them up to Drummond or Rausch, or even Moab someday.

Yea, I would do the same thing. Certainly would maximize your time if you could travel like thatThe cost difference wasn’t that much between a single or a double. And having that ability, especially heading west with two drivers made it an easy decision.

They really had a blast! I full expect hawk will be driving it on the trail by 12 as well. He’s already tall as hell. It won’t be long until he can reach the pedals. My daughter on the other hand thought she was driving a race car on the trail. It’s going to be awhile for her
