The build of my flag ship Black Pearl

I did the 1 tonne HD's... SoI think that is 2200 Lbs. Im pretty sure I'm already taxing it without too much additional load . Tires were bottoming into the fenders with only the fridge, 1200 watt geny, 5 gallons fuel, and a pelican case with my little gas grill a few pots, pans and propane bottles.
When I left on this last trip I had about two inches of space between tiers and fender. Was still alright but sitting lower after I drove into the sierras. On the way back after some wheeling with the trailer, I couldn’t put my finger between the tire and fender 😫. My sprung weight is almost exactly 1000lbs.
Since I have two sets of aeons, I’m gonna try something to stiffen them up. I just ordered some two part pourable silicone, For makings molds with a hardness of 25a. I’m going to fill the two extra aeons and see how it dose. Got another trip planned for the end of the month to Nevada.

I think I need that explained... What are the aeons?

Timbren claims the sting in mine is softer with more travel than the standard model, I might call them after I try a run with no fenders
Hopefully you get someone who knows the product well. I ended up knowing more about the technical data, then the guy I talked to.

I like the suspension. It would just be nice if it held the advertised weight … or at least half of it.

Not much happening e we it’s the Jeep lately. I did put new front breaks on though.

Gave the Jeep a bath today… it’s been almost two years since it’s last one. Also replaced the struts for the rear window, now it won’t hit me in the head every time I get something out.

Had a amazing trip to a spot we haven’t been to before, but will definitely be going back! Got to relax and fish. Cruised around on the beach and got to pull 4 vehicles out of the sand.

Had a great one night trip. Just the wife and I. Just hanging out on the beach and relaxing.
On the way home we decided to see if the Jeep fit through the drive through tree. It does with a little space to spare. The trailer on the other hand, well it was a few inches to tall.
