Glad you got that out of the way. Sesms like it wouldn't be much fun. That is a PITA repair, I did it not too long ago...
Awesome! Looks like it’s going to be a fun project.I got a thing today!! The only part of it I’m going to use is the bed. Going to pick up steel for a new sub frame and order a new axel, that matches the Jeep lug pattern. Off grid camping is about to get a little better.
It’s shaping up to be a good one! Already started designingAwesome! Looks like it’s going to be a fun project.
Cool. Be interesting to see what you make of thisAwesome! Looks like it’s going to be a fun project.
I’m eager to see where I go with it as well. I’ve got lots of ideas, but not all will make the cut.Cool. Be interesting to see what you make of this
Thanks!! I’ve wanted to do one for a while now and the cards are finally lining up.That will make for a cool project. l like the idea of a cool offroad trailer.
That is such a great setup!Got out into the mountains last weekend. Camped at snag lake and wheeled through gold valley. It was a great time.
Looks like you are having fun with the new setup...
That is such a great setup!
Thanks guys!!I'm with those guys, cool set up you've got. Seams like it accommodates you well and makes it to some really cool spots.
I cant remember... Did you weigh it, I'm curious how mine compares mine ended up at about 1200 pounds with the tent, annex room, and batteries included. Thanks guys!!
It’s been great so far. still doing little tweaks to it, to get it dialed in. It handed well in light to moderate rocks.
I didn’t weigh it empty but it’s right in the 1200lbs range loaded. But that will fluctuate with different amounts of water/firewood. Probably would be closer to 1300lbs for longer trips.I cant remember... Thank you! That’s awesome! Great job on the trailer!
I did the 1 tonne HD's... SoI think that is 2200 Lbs. Im pretty sure I'm already taxing it without too much additional load . Tires were bottoming into the fenders with only the fridge, 1200 watt geny, 5 gallons fuel, and a pelican case with my little gas grill a few pots, pans and propane bottles.I didn’t weigh it empty but it’s right in the 1200lbs range loaded. What weight Timbern suspension did you go with? I have the 2K aeons in mine now and am having issues with it completely sagging out. To the point of almost bottoming out. I pulled the spare tire and swing out off to see if that helps. That was about two hundred pounds I didn’t originally account for and wasn’t on when weighed.
