The build of Clifford's tire carrier...

Painted my hinge mounts still have to painted the tailgate hinges.
Bend my first tube a few weeks ago but got some crappy kinks so gunna have to take the pipe to a local guy to make my bends .
 
ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1471844012.394494.jpgeverything all painted and put on added a foam pad behind the driver side hinge to help protect the body. Also aligned my tail gate while it was max load so the latch can open and close very easy now. The pipe is something I'm going to have bent for me so some weekend that im free I'll have my pipes bent and then I can weld all the tubes together.
 
Everything looks like a big company put that out. Great work! Can't wait to see the carrier and what you do.
So are you going to stick with the bumper or get rid of it?

Thanks man really appreciate it. Well for now I'm going to leave the bumper on. I plan on running the i fascia in the near future.

My wife liked my bumper too until I told her it was going away. She likes the Jeep more without it now. So maybe when she see it without a bumper
 
Tire carrier is coming along very nice.

Umm not sure right now the guy that I was going to have bend them won't return my phone calls so I may have to look for another fab shop.

Ok si iv changed the plans for the carrier I was going to have the carrier look somewhat like the genwright carrier but now I changed it up so now it will be one of my own. IMG_1477888668.887584.jpg

Welcome back. Tire carrier is really looking good. Wish I could weld with a stock or write welder them Mabel I could some things on my own as well. Only thing I was ever able get to go right was using an acetylene torch with a welding tip. But those are not really good for trying to weld around things. Lol
