TeraFlex Hinged Tire Carrier Break

They call us "sheep" over on their forums yet they blindly hate Eddie any chance they get. Bet half of them didn't even read the comments or op on fb. I said my part. Glad Eddie saw it and liked it. I normally don't partake in those kinds of discussions but for all he's done for us, I figured a few positive words and actual facts needed to be pointed out. Even someone used to being hated on can use some support once in a while.

It is funny how you guys are some how the "sheep" on "kool-aid" and yet, they are the one constantly coming on here or on Facebook with no other agenda than to blindly hate on me and this forum. I honestly don't even think that most of them care about TeraFlex or this break as they themselves have said on multiple occasions that they don't even own one of these tire carriers. Eddie you really must have struck a nerve with this last post about the teraflex carrier, because other people with Facebook pages are starting posts about your posts! It's really amazing how ridiculous people can be!

Maybe a nerve with TeraFlex but these haters are always looking for an opportunity to troll me on FB. I'm sure they would here as well but most of them have either been banned or don't have the balls to take on what they know will come there way.

Who are the sheep now? And the brand shaming? I've never seen it, and I post photos and have a build thread filled with positive comments on these forums. That build includes a lift, a bumper, tires, and a winch, that aren't made by sponsors of these forums. (They were all purchased from a vendor who is a sponsor. I do what I can to support the forums.)

These folks who make assumptions about our community really strike a nerve with me.

If you got a chance to see a lot of the trolling last night before, I sent them on their way, most admitted they didn't even own one of these tire carriers or any TeraFlex products. A few didn't even own Jeeps. These guys were trolls and friends of trolls, most of which spend time on one of the various hater forums. The post got shared and they told a friend and so on and so on. This happens a couple of times a year and really, they use it as more of an opportunity to hate on me than anything. The way I see it, don't really matter so long as my point gets out there. Whether you like me or hate me, the problem is real and I'd have a hard time thinking they won't check their tire carrier if they have one. But, I could be wrong.

eddie, the issue is not you bringing the problem with the tire carrier to peoples eyes. its the fact that you used a pic of a jeep that was destroyed when a semi tire came loose and smashed into it insinuating that the damage was caused by a teraflex tire carrier. had you mentioned that this was not the case but were just showing how much damage a huge tire can cause it would have been fine for most people (not the haters or trolls) but you didnt, and when its brought to your attention, you delete people.

If Dennis at TeraFlex is right and there are "thousands upon thousands" of their tire carriers out there, all I can say is that it'll only take ONE of them breaking on the highway to really hurt someone or worse. If you have one of their tire carriers, please, do everyone on the road a favor and please keep an eye on it. Should yours break, TeraFlex WILL blame you for it. NOTE: This was NOT caused by a TeraFlex tire carrier. This photo is just an example of what can happen if you get hit by a tire on the highway. Nowhere on that post did it say it was teraflex. It showed what could/did happen when a tire hit a vehicle at freeway speeds. Whether it's a big rig tire or a jeep tire the mass will still fuck up a vehicle.

at what point did he insinuate that it was from a teracrap carrier? he stated this is what could happen if your teracrap carrier broke and the tire fell off on the highway. go back and learn some reading comprehension skills

To be clear, it is YOUR OPINION that I was insinuating the damage was caused by a failed TeraFlex tire carrier. If you took the time to read, I had stated, and I quote...

I realize it may be too little to late for you, but I did try to add the addition note to help clarify things. If that's not enough for you, you're free to believe whatever it is you want to believe. Regarding the deleted posts, I should clarify that I had BANNED them from my page and unfortunately, that removes their posts as well. I wish that weren't the case but, that is that. If they still want to take up their grievances with me, they are more than welcome to do that here, just as you have.
