What’s totally crazy is so much of the ‘Third World’ has amazing potential. Whether it’s scenery, resources, or historical travel they could really live well off of the profits and have a very nice life. For instance Baghdad and the area along the Tigris could be bad-ass if they just stopped being savages. During my time there I kept thinking about what potential it had if it was properly developed and maintained. They also have tons of oil.
The coast of Libya could be turned into miles of amazing beachside resort areas if they could just get their shit together. They also have tons of oil.
Beirut was once a really nice place and now it’s shit.
There is a reason the third world is fucked up- it’s full of third worlders. The area we call Gaza could be a really nice resort area if the arabs who call themselves palestinians left and were replaced by civilized humans.

Well the common denominator in all of those coulda woulda shouldas is that pesky little religion of peace. They have no desire to evolve along with the rest of civilization so wherever they’ve laid roots will remain the dark ages. Wherever they’ve been welcomed eventually turns in to complete and utter shit and madness. I present to you Dearborn Michigan. Or Mogadishu.

I know you know this, but every country has natural resource riches. All of them. It's only been a hot minute since the last "Largest ever oil field discovered in ......." Oil is everywhere and it's the lousiest kept secret that it's an overly abundant, renewable resource. Fossil fuel is right up there with the worst label of anything ever. Diamonds, gold, lithium, all that shit is everywhere.
