Got the paperwork, filling it out. As of 01 Sep 2024 I will be retired.
It will take 4 months to process and I will get retroactive pay back to the 1st.

Tired of fighting all the ticky tack old man stuff on a construction site. My body said it's time.

So the pin is pulled and can't be put back.

You can retire from construction? I figure I'll just have a stroke at 95 years old in a porta potty.

Congratulations, you won't regret it.

I retired from the Carpenters after 32 years only 29 credits because of time off and the US Navy.

I spent a year and a half with family things. Then started traveling full time. I have not regretted it yet. My only regret was selling my JKUR the day after I retired.

Enjoy what ever you end up doing. Live a life worth living.
